We went to the Lake and had two coolers. Both are yeti backpack coolers and we used real ice in one and reusable ice cubes in another one. I fill the bags half full and 4 hours later it was still cold. The big difference was that stuff in the real ice bag were wet. They definitely passed the test, are cheaper and doesn't soak everything in the bottom. And you get plenty of ice! They seem robust and good quality It took a while to freeze down 30 kg but now sorted The plan is to always have 15/20 kg in the freezer on my 45 footer Use it in the fish bin clean it and leave it in the freezer again.
